Starting April 1, 2019, it will not longer be possible to restrict an entire tenant to classic mode for lists and libraries.
This feature was introduced in 2016 to restrict a organisations tenant into classic mode.
After April 1 any list or library that are in classic mode as a result of the opt-out will automatically be transitioned over to the modem interface. Depending on your use-case this may have some impact to your existing business applications.
Your users will benefit from several of the enhancements included in modern lists including: attention views, PowerApps integration, Flow Integration, Column/Row formatting and the new filters pane.
